NITA, set up in 1990, is today a well-known Russian company for the development and supply of aviation-related firmware. Nine software laboratories, three microprocessor laboratories, a radio system department, workshops, a training centre and a storehouse are amongst our facilities; we also provide quality control and a customer-support service. The company employs around 150 specialists, including experienced software developers, and qualified technical and support personnel. We can carry out development, production, delivery, and commissioning of aviation-related firmware's repair and maintenance. Air-traffic control systemsOur main line of business is the development and production of air-traffic control (ATC) systems. Our principal product is the ALPHA air-traffic management system, which is designed for ATC centres of medium and high air-traffic intensity. ALPHA air-traffic management systemThe subsystems of ALPHA are offered to customers both within air-traffic management (ATM) systems and as separate products. Functionalities include:
The system is designed for ATC centres of medium and high air-traffic intensity. It serves to receive, process, display and integrate air traffic, FDP, weather and aeronautical data on high-resolution displays, and to automate air-traffic analysis, ATC procedures, and console operations. All types of radars and radio direction finders, weather stations, satellite and ATC (ADS-B, ADS-C) navigation systems, telegraph channels and data links are the data sources. GRANIT air-traffic surveillance data recorderDesigned for continuous recording of radio exchange, and information delivered on digital and analogue channels, the GRANIT provides simultaneous playback of voice and air-traffic surveillance data. PLANETA flight-data processing systemThe PLANETA flight-data processing system (FDPS) enables preliminary, daily and current flight-data processing, from providing FDP and aeronautical data to ATC units, to interacting with FDP and ATM systems. LADOGA data transmission systemOur LADOGA air-traffic data transmission system is intended to collect, process and transmit data from radars, radio direction finders and receiver-transmitter systems on communication channels to ATC centres, and to provide data exchange between ATC units. LADOGA_IS information serverThe LADOGA_IS information server acquires, processes, integrates and transmits information to ATC centres, and for data exchange between ATC units. The information can be taken from radars, radio direction finders and receiver-transmitter systems. The server is a key element for data exchange within the Aeronautical Telecommunication Network (ATN). MEGAPHONE voice communication switching systemWe also supply the MEGAPHONE voice communication switching system (VCSS), which enables ground loud-speaking and telephone communication, control of radio communication between airborne and ground objects, and operational voice communication within ATC centres. EXPRESS telegraph-message processing workstationThe NITA EXPRESS workstation is a subscriber to the Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network (AFTN), and is designed for continuous telegraph-message processing at the network subscribers workstations, in structural units of airports, air carriers, services, etc. EXPERT air-traffic controller training simulatorEXPERT ATC simulator is designed for initial training and professional development of ATC controllers. The simulator is of modular design, and enables personnel training at radar control (АРР and АСС) and tower workstations with visual presentation on the monitors or a screen. METRONOM ATM time-synchronisation systemMETRONOM system is designed for time synchronisation for ATM systems and other users. It is able to provide process synchronisation in a common LAN. GPS and GLONASS systems and an internal high-precision time source ensure precise timing. CNS / ATM air-navigation systemsNITA is working to implement advanced technologies for CNS / ATM air-navigation systems. For ground-to-ground data exchange the company developed the aforementioned LADOGA information server. NITA also designed the ADS-B ground-based station using VDL mode four technology, and produced the airborne transponder and cockpit display. This technology is implemented for controlling unmanned air vehicles (UAVs). Flight simulator development and modernisationThe company provides modernisation of old-type flight simulators and developing new types. We commissioned the Yak-18T flight simulator, and linguistic computer-based simulators have been developed by NITA to provide training in radio exchanges in English.
