NedGraphics - Aviation Chart Production

smartGlobe®, the charting product of NedGraphics (a company of the Cadac group), helps you dramatically reduce the costs of your chart production. Topography and hydrography addition for aviation charts

Topography and hydrography relevant to the chart can be added as vector data using smartGlobe MapTrans or via GIS functions. MapTrans imports and automatically converts 'unprojected' vector files to the correct projection required for a specific chart type.

Aviation chart procedure coding

Coding of procedures is easy with the new smartGlobe procedure coding tool, the solution you need to create AIXM, ARINC 424 and ICAO-compliant procedures.

Aeronautical chart digital conversion

A chart conversion service is ideal if you need to professionalise your chart-production process but are not ready to invest in a full-blown system. Currently, many AIS department aeronautical charts are in paper or digital format. It may also be the case that some charts are not fully ICAO-compliant.

NedGraphics takes your current aeronautical charts, whether they are paper, bitmap or vector format and converts them to one standard digital format. The charts are ICAO-compliant and, if desired, Eurocontrol European AIS Database (EAD) compatible.

Aeronautical chart creation system

smartGlobe can also produce completely new charts upon request. Aeronautical data, such as airports, navigation aids, airways and procedures are added from an aeronautical database. If the 'unprojected' vector files are not supplied by the customer, Nedgraphics will use VMAP data for the topography and the hydrography.

The company can use your current specification when creating a new chart. All charts are saved to your choice of media and in the format you specify.
