Navcontrol is a leading French supplier of aviation and airport solutions to Europe, Africa and the Middle East. We are capable of undertaking turnkey Communications, Navigation, Surveillance (CNS) and Air Traffic Management (ATM) projects and associated services. Navcontrol has recently developed a flight inspection unit aimed at providing the market with the most cost-efficient service and technology, using the latest generation flight inspection equipment.

AIR NAVIGATION SYSTEM – NAVAIDS

Navcontrol specialises in Navaids turnkey projects and calibration. Our product range includes instrument landing systems, DME, VOR, non-directional beacons, TACAN, SLS GBAS and DF.

INSTRUMENT LANDING SYSTEMS (ILS)

Navcontrol provides a range of Instrument Landing Systems (ILS) designed to meet the most stringent technical and operational requirements, with the flexibility needed for cost-effective implementation.

Every ILS' configuration meets, and in some particulars exceeds, the ICAO's availability and integrity requirements for category III. Fulfilling the signal performance requirements to meet category I, II or III conditions in a particular installation is a matter of selecting the equipment and antenna system configuration appropriate to the desired level of operation and condition encountered on-site.

DME

Navcontrol provides a range of DME in configurations of 100W and 1kW, and with directional, bi-directional or omnidirectional antennas.

TERMINAL AREA LOCATION BEACON

The DVOR has been introduced to the Navcontrol's range of products to provide customers with a world class en-route and terminal area location beacon.

NON-DIRECTIONAL BEACON

The 2060 Non-Directional Beacon (NDB) is the latest generation of solid-state equipment, providing complete coverage of the NDB frequency band from 190kHz to 1,750KHz.

The NDB is available in three versions - single, dual and portable with a power output continuously adjustable up to 100W.

TACAN

We supply the most modern TACAN beacon available in the world today. Our TACAN has set new standards to meet the increasing demands for low life-cycle costs, greater reliability, performance and control. The TACAN we provide is operational in NATO and throughout the world.

DF

The technical advantages of high-resolution DFs include extensive BITE facilities, remote control and indication of fault parameters, remote fault diagnosis, remote system testing and a modular, versatile design that allows for expandability as requirements change.

GROUND RADAR - MONITORING AIRPORT TRAFFIC

Our A-SMGCS system is based on a tracking process on primary radar data and a multi-sensor fusion process. The A-SMGCS can present air traffic controllers with a complete picture of airport traffic.

BEACON MULTI-LATERATION SYSTEM

The MDS system is a beacon multi-lateration system that uses multiple receivers to capture a transmitted signal. It also uses an aircraft’s transponder pulse to calculate the location of that aircraft.

The system is configured with multiple low-cost, non-rotating sensors that are installed at convenient locations around the airport area. No additional avionics are required.
