DSE Airport Solutions and the Royal Danish Air Force (RDAF) have signed a contract covering new Integrated Remote-control and Information Systems (IRIS) for two airbases in Denmark.

DSE Airport Solutions was selected to supply and install new integrated control and monitoring systems for airfield lighting, NAVAID, AIS and technical supervision in refurbished towers at Karup and Skrydstrup Airbases.

The system includes integration of MET and AFTN information and operational/technical statistical information to support the airbase staff.

The contract is a milestone for DSE as it presents existing software modules merged into a completely integrated control and monitoring system for TWR and technical supervision of all equipment on military and civilian airports.

The Royal Danish Air Force will benefit from DSE Airport Solutions' broad experience from a number of similar installations, e.g. the new tower at Copenhagen airport.
