The new Frequentis subsidiary ‘Comsoft Solutions’ has acquired parts of the ATM business of Comsoft. An experienced management team led by Gerald Enzinger will focus on realising growth opportunities, particularly in the European and Asian markets.

Comsoft Solutions comprises parts of Comsoft, a company founded in Karlsruhe / Germany in 1979, which has been a leading producer of software in the area of air traffic control / air traffic management (ATC/ATM) for more than 30 years, positioning itself as a competent partner on the international air traffic control market.

Gerald Enzinger, managing director and division manager with experience in the global environment of complex technology projects, has taken over management of Comsoft Solutions together with an experienced management team. "I am looking forward to this new task", says Enzinger. "The Comsoft products and services have a great reputation on the market. On behalf of our international clients we are seeking to push these further, thus making use of available growth opportunities."

The former Comsoft shareholder and managing director, Manfred Schmid, is equally pleased; as market players, the two companies had been in contact for quite some time. Schmid will take over a new task within the framework of the Frequentis-Group and contribute his comprehensive ATM expertise.
