16 April 2007

Barco, a leader in display and visualization solutions for selected professional markets, announces the availability of a 56in quad full high-definition display. The LC-5621 complements the company's LC series of 42in and 47in native full high-definition displays with a new 3840px x 2160px resolution format.

The new 56in LCD builds on Barco's proven leadership in high-definition LCD technology.

"Operators value Barco's high-definition LCD technology in a wide range of applications," said Guy Van Wijmeersch, global market development manager, utilities and process control, Barco Security & Monitoring Division. Mr. Van Wijmeersch continued, "Our unique benefits are recognized across a variety of industries, ranging from studio backdrop applications, broadcast control rooms, utilities and process control centers, and traffic surveillance centers to command and control environments."

The LC-5621 features a configurable ambient light sensor, a wide viewing angle and adjustable color temperature.
