Arrival and departure manager software

Barco's OSYRIS arrival and departure management software offers ANSPs, airports and airlines a perfect sense of direction to manage today's crowded airspace. OSYRIS generates more capacity for runways and airspace, which reduces air traffic delays and environmental impact. The concept of this suite is to generate planning advisories for air traffic controllers in order to automate specific tasks and calculations and improve ATC operations.

Barco's OSYRIS AMAN-DMAN comes with modern, ergonomically designed graphical user interfaces that present relevant information to air traffic controllers depending on the situation. The underlying workflow concept can be adapted as required by end users and human factors experts.

Air traffic management displays

Barco's display solutions for area control centres are based on the latest LCD technology and built to last for years of continuous use in an operational environment. Moreover, Barco's displays are designed for optimum user comfort, because they take maximum account of the space limitations of your working position.

Barco's tower control displays provide excellent readability and user-comfort in the ATC tower, an environment characterised by difficult ambient light conditions and constrained space. Barco's family of tower control displays features a 20.1in and a 24in member.

Air traffic management display servers

According to Barco's philosophy of network-centric visualisation, the graphics visualisation function is separated as much as possible from the application function, in order to increase the overall performance of the system and generate more freedom for future reconfigurations and updates.

Barco's VISONA display server allows application programs running on any computer anywhere in a network to display visual information on high-resolution displays. The VISONA server acts as a networked graphics device that translates X11 protocol into video for up to four display devices, while interfacing with local input devices. VISONA eliminates the need for graphics generation on the application computer, thus increasing overall performance and allowing more advanced system architectures.

Barco's PVS6 series offers state-of-the-art PCI graphics adapters designed for applications requiring high-performance drawing with high-resolution video output. The PVS6 family provides two independent video outputs, up to 2560px x 2048px.
