In what is becoming a yearly tradition, UFIS Airport Solutions was awarded a contract by Polish Airports’ State Enterprise (PPL) for the UFIS® Flight Information System running at Warsaw’s Frederic Chopin International Airport.

Included in the enhancement package are the addition of sub-delay codes, allocation of arrival belts to departure flights, modifications to the auto allocation routine for baggage belts, modifications to data changes module to include changes to towings and those made by the status entry modules for CUTE workstations, and additional information to be shown on FIDS displays.

The enhancements will be delivered in four phases beginning in May and scheduled to be completed in September.

“We are pleased to be awarded this contract by PPL for additional enhancements to their UFIS system,” said Holger Mattig, president and CEO of UFIS-AS. “These enhancements will allow PPL to provide better services to their passengers at Warsaw International Airport.”
