HANDHELD EXPLOSIVE AND ENERGETIC MATERIAL DETECTOR

The Ex-Detect® model XD-2 detects over 40 different explosives and energetic materials in a convenient handheld kit.

Ideal for first responders, this compact kit from KeTech provides high pictogram and low nanogram detection without being hampered by any background interferences. User-friendly reagents easily analyse most samples, even when taken from liquid, providing search teams with immediate results.

DRUG AND EXPLOSIVES DETECTION SYSTEM

BIOSENS® is a unique drug and explosives detection system, available in the UK through KeTech Detection, which gives on the spot, accurate, non-invasive testing with negligible cost per test.

BIOSENS is an essential tool for customs officials, as it provides immediate identification of personal drug abuse, and trace and bulk drug and explosives detection. This innovative system uses revolutionary biotechnology antibody sensors to provide accurate analysis from a simple skin swab, without the need for costly laboratory conditions or facilities.

BIOSENS does not require the presence of a skilled operator and offers virtually no false alarms / interferents, giving levels of accuracy and performance far beyond existing IMS equipment.

SUSPICIOUS LIQUID SCANNER

The Nuctech liquid scanner provides rapid analysis of suspicious liquids in a matter of seconds. Developed by leading manufacturer Nuctech and exclusively available in the UK from KeTech Detection, this sophisticated CT scanning equipment allows rapid analysis of suspicious liquids to detect liquid explosives and identify dangerous and illegal substances in solutions.

Furthermore, this invaluable system – which does not require a highly skilled operator – allows substance analysis without the need to remove the liquid from its outer container, offering maximum protection to operatives.

BAGGAGE AND FREIGHT SCANNING EQUIPMENT

KeTech Detection also offers the class-leading Nuctech range of baggage and freight scanning equipment for airports.

PORTABLE X-RAY DETECTOR

Ex-Checker™ is a highly specified portable X-ray detector with a large detection area. The Ex-Checker allows security and customs personnel to deploy sophisticated check points within minutes. This robust and self-contained portable unit offers an especially large active area, allowing rucksacks and briefcases to be analysed as a single captured image, reducing scan time and risk to operatives.

Image quality is excellent and operators have facilities to zoom in on specific areas using quick, normal and detailed scanning modes. Communication options include wired or wireless and Ex-Checker also offers the ability to save / export images as required.

INFRA-RED SIGHTING SYSTEMS

For covert airport perimeter surveillance, TiV and pocket TiV Infra-Red (IR) sighting systems are a must.

Unaffected by bright lights and providing accurate vision through smoke, mist, etc., TiV systems offer true IR (not image intensification), giving genuine 24-hour vision capability and reliability without the noise and heavy power consumption of cooled units. TiV, designed in conjunction with ISS, also provides a valuable in-built recording option, giving two hours of recording at 12.5 frames/s.

The high performance, lightweight unit – less than 1.7kg including batteries – uses commercially available batteries or an external power pack and provides man detection at approximately 1,400m and man recognition at approximately 550m.
