Gas-tight containment chambers and suppression vessels

Dynasafe provides explosives containment, transportation and destruction equipment for all parts of the airport. This includes suppression vessels for reducing the direct effect of fragmentation and pressure waves, and containment chambers that are not only able to contain complete explosions but also remain gas-tight.

EOD, IEDD or UXOD equipment from Dynasafe is delivered to security companies, police forces, military units, airport authorities and major companies to allow them to deal with multiple threats such as terrorist bombs, suspicious letter bombs, letters suspected of containing chemical / biological agents, and – of particular importance – other forms of transportation of dangerous goods.

Our standard products are supplied from 6kg portable versions to mobile or stationary chambers up to 50,000kg. With this unique range of equipment, Dynasafe can offer the right product for each customer. In some cases the final product is tailored to meet the specific demands of the client. This, in combination with a close and continuous contact with the client, ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Mobile Explosion Containment Vessels (MECVs)

MECVs are designed for safe containment and removal of suspect objects possibly containing explosives, toxic or even radioactive materials.

Gas-tight, with the possibility to sample and clean gases before they are safely released, MECVs can also decontaminate the chambers prior to opening. The MECVs are designed to withstand repetitive detonations up to the maximum amount of explosives specified.

The MECV-A series is specially designed to meet the security demands of airports worldwide. Dynasafe offers containment chambers after X-ray scanning at Level 3 / Level 5. An MECV-A chamber ensures there is no need to close a terminal after dangerous baggage is identified.

Mobile Explosion Containment Chambers (MECCs)

The MECC series of chambers is designed for safe containment and removal of suspect objects possibly containing explosives and/or toxic materials. They are gas-tight and can sample gases before they are safely released after detonation. MECCs are designed to withstand repetitive detonations up to the maximum amount of explosives specified.

MECCs are used at airports in conjunction with existing baggage handling systems (BHSs). They can be integrated with most BHSs and X-ray equipment.

Portable Explosion Suppression Vessels (PSVs)

PSVs are designed to suppress the effects of an explosion of a suspect object while waiting for EOD experts or during its removal to a safer location. They provide protection against fragments and suppress the direct effects from the blast wave. PSVs can be made in different sizes depending on the size of the object to be placed inside.

Small PSVs are easy to operate manually, and large PSVs possess electric control buttons. The large openings make them easy to load. PSVs are mounted on wheeled carts or special wheeled frames, which – in combination with the limited weight –makes them easy to move inside buildings.
