Scintrex Trace®, a wholly owned subsidiary of Autoclear, develops innovative and proprietary trace detection products and systems to help airport security and law enforcement agencies around the world detect explosives, drugs and other noxious substances.

AIRPORT SECURITY – CHEMICAL TRACE DETECTION SYSTEMS

Scintrex Trace has engineered trace detection equipment since 1986 as CPAD Technologies Inc. We have designed, manufactured and engineered some of the most advanced chemical detection systems in the world.

Experts in application and use of IMS, SID, CL, ECD sensors and GC/IMS technology we have created excellent trace detectors. With a 35,000ft² facility located in Ottawa, Canada, and with more than 20 scientists, engineers and technologists permanently on staff, Scintrex Trace can provide excellent research and development projects, custom applications and engineering support on all products produced.

TRACE DETECTION SYSTEMS – HANDHELDS, X-RAY AND METAL DETECTORS

Scintrex Trace systems detect minute traces of the particles and vapours associated with explosives and narcotics. These trace detection systems were designed with the non-technical operator in mind and have simple sampling techniques, one-step analysis and easy-to-read displays. They were engineered to allow for portability, durability, quick detection and clear, accurate results.

With our parent company Autoclear LLC, we are now able to provide not only the trace detectors but also a full line of x-ray and metal detectors.

NEW SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

With offices in every region across the globe we are able to provide excellent service, training and customer relations with all our clients. Our engineering department continues to develop new systems to improve detection levels and accuracy in order to assist in the battle against terrorism. The units are Health Canada approved and meet CSA standards.
