Acquris provides a range of airport security products, including surveillance cameras and equipment.

Airport security cameras

Acquris' airport security cameras for surveillance all provide very high image quality, and have high light sensitivity.

Among the advantages of this is the fact that we do not need to use the slow-shutter/sense-up technique to get decent pictures in low light situations, a technique that works by adding up successive images to in order to accumulate more light.

The most common problem with this technique is that all movement in the image is smeared. Nobody is particularly happy to see a grey blob float over the image: you'd rather see who was there. This requires cameras with a high sensitivity to light.

Custom airport security cameras

Another advantage of Acquris' airport security cameras is that we mostly develop them ourselves, from the simple choice of enclosure to the more advanced programming of the camera's image processor.

Therefore, we know what they can and can't do, and we can perform a careful analysis where we take in all the factors affecting the camera's performance and selects the appropriate camera to meet each client's individual requirements. As an added bonus, for the most part we can change an enclosure from one camera model to another without affecting the warranty.

Our airport surveillance camera mounts are available in several different designs. They are characterised by stable designs and are easy to adjust.

Heavy-duty mounts for surveillance cameras

We supply two heavy-duty mounts for surveillance cameras: a standard camera mount, and a version where the camera is mounted on a ball joint.

Ball-joint mounts for surveillance cameras

We provide three other ball-joint mounts for surveillance cameras: a slim camera bracket for security cameras, where the camera is mounted on a ball joint, a simpler short camera mount, and a very simple, standard camera bracket.

Enclosures for airport security cameras

Enclosures for airport security cameras are used for two reasons: a special kind of lens / camera is being used that that is not available in a vandal-proof version, or there is a need for weather protection of a standard CCTV camera.

We supply a number of different kinds of camera housings, including affordable all-weather housings and special covers.

Ultra-small video camera

The ACQ-UltraPICOcam is the world's smallest camera with a resolution of 400 TVL. Its dimensions are just 3mm x 3mm with a depth of 4mm. To achieve such a high resolution in such small dimensions, the supporting electronics sit on a separate circuit board. The distance may be several metres between the camera and circuit board, so this should not pose major problems when built in.

Since we are using the latest generation of CCIQ 2, with a 0.1in sensor, we can still provide high-resolution images.
