Orga - High Intensity and Medium Intensity Obstruction Lighting

Orga bring together more than 30 years experience of design, manufacture and servicing of safety signalling equipment in a range of aviation obstruction light products that comply with international industry standards (ICAO Annex 14, FAA AC 150/5345-43F), and are approved by many national civil aviation authorities. All products are designed to meet electrical safety standards, and a number of products are ATEX certified for installation in areas of potential gas explosion hazard.

Orga's products are widely used as aircraft warning lights on telecommunication and broadcast masts, high-voltage transmission towers, wind turbines, tall buildings and chimneys.

XENON STROBE OBSTRUCTION LIGHTS

The L1000 high intensity and L303 medium intensity obstruction lights combine Orga's long-life xenon strobe discharge lamp technology with high-efficiency power supplies in housing designs proven for many years on offshore oil and gas platforms. Using advanced optical designs, Orga products direct the light where it is needed, minimising power consumption and reducing ground-level light spill often associated with older products.

The lights have a worldwide input voltage range as standard, and have an integrated power supply to minimise risk of lightning and other electrostatic discharges damaging the system.

L1000 HIGH INTENSITY OBSTRUCTION LIGHT

The L1000 series white flashing high intensity lights are used for day and night time marking of structures and buildings more than 150m high. The L1000 light has a stainless steel enclosure, provides 120° horizontal sector marking and has an integral installation adjustment mounting bracket.

L303 MEDIUM INTENSITY OBSTRUCTION LIGHT

The L303 series medium intensity light range includes white flashing, red flashing and a combined red/white flashing light used for day and night time marking of obstructions between 45m and 150m high.

L350 AND L340 MEDIUM INTENSITY LED OBSTRUCTION LIGHT

The L350 and L340 series medium intensity LED red lights use a high-flux LED light source with a proprietary high efficiency TIR optic in a long life, low power consumption medium intensity red obstruction light. The L350 and L340 series medium intensity light range are used for night time marking of obstructions between 45m and 150m high.

The lightweight and compact L350 and L340 lights can be set up in either flashing or fixed modes, with either automatic or external day/night control, making it an ideal choice for both new systems and as a replacement for an existing light operating with third party controllers.

OBSTRUCTION LIGHT SYSTEM DESIGN

Virtually any required combination of L1000, L303 and L350 lights can be operated from a CIP200 controller. The system concept offers an end to complicated and expensive system cabling with a one wire design using Orga Strobeline® cable, and without the need for an external photocell. The CIP200 controller has a detailed local system control and status interface, and can be provided with optional remote monitoring and troubleshooting support facilities.

Orga's range of L1000, L303 and L350 obstruction systems can be supplied with a range of advanced system options, including multiple system synchronisation, proportional intensity control, and fibre optic communication to provide community-friendly obstruction lighting systems without compromising aviation safety.
