Efla - Transformers and Connector Kits

Efla is one of the leading manufacturers of aeronautical ground lighting (AGL) transformers and connectors in the world. Our offering meets the most demanding customer specifications in terms of product quality, customization and service. This has led Efla into close cooperation with leading total-solution suppliers globally.

The business started over 25 years ago in Ensto Connector and was incorporated in 2003 under the new company Efla Oy. Efla is part of privately owned EM Group, which has 19 subsidiaries in the world and employs some 2000 people at the moment. 

AGL transformers

Our transformers and connectors go through a massive testing procedure during the design and production phases. This is why they are well known for their reliability, ease of installation and are used by several major airports in Europe, Russia, Middle East, Asia and Australia. Efla is FAA, IEC and MAK certified. ISO 9001 and 14000 have been in place from the beginning of 1990's.

The range consists of two different series of AGL-transformer for series circuits. The new range is KD600-series which has been designed to facilitate adjustment of series circuit fed addressable lighting systems. The demand of small power transformers for LED-AGL lights has been increasing and we have now two lower wattage transformers for this purpose. In addition we have also voltage-transformers for heliports and we make remarkable amount transformers according our customers request.

Primary and secondary connector kits

On the connector side we have primary and secondary connector kits for a wide range cables. One of the new connectors is a resin filled connector kit, KDR600, which is widely used in the world.

Primary and secondary leads

The demand of primary and secondary prefabricated molded leads seem to be growing and we are producing a  wide range of tailor made leads for our customers. Also higher temperature types are available.
