CEL Aviation - LED Obstruction Lights, Obstacle Lighting and Landing Aids

CEL Aviation offer an extensive range of LED obstruction lights, obstacle lighting and safety products, including:

FRANGIBLE LATTICE MASTS / POLES

EXEL frangible approach lights, lattice masts and poles are full-scale impact tested to verify compatibility with ICAO's frangibility requirements, as specified in Aerodrome Design Manual, Part 6, Frangibility (ADM6). We provide:

• Poles for single lights
• Lattice masts for single and multiple lights
• Extra tall lattice masts up to 35m
• Standard colours of aviation yellow and FAA orange

FRANGIBLE GLIDE PATH TOWERS

Glide path antenna towers are part of the instrument landing system (ILS); its stiffness is a requirement in order to achieve antennas work properly. ADM6 now states these structures, when in operational areas, should be frangible and minimum mass.

FRANGIBLE WIND MONITOR AND ANEMOMETER MASTS

CEL also provide frangible weather masts for installation in critical areas for wind direction indicators, anemometers, ceilometers, transmissometers, wind monitoring equipment and wind socks.

PERIMETER AND APPROACH MAST FENCING

Our frangible fencing is of a glass-fibre construction, with no electromagnetic interference, and does not affect ILS or MLS systems. Pre-assembled fence panels are light to carry and easy to handle, allowing a two-man crew to install over 100m of fence per day.

This frangible fencing is available for airport perimeter or individual ground installations, in standard heights of 2m or 2.5m, with different spacing and colouring. It is difficult to climb due to the absence of crossbars in the panels and the sharp saw-toothed top. UV-resistant and non-corrodible, our frangible fencing is designed and tested to withstand jet blasts.

PASSENGER BOARDING BRIDGES

FP-TEK® custom-built passenger boarding bridges are designed, manufactured and installed to ensure safe, secure and comfortable access to different types of aircraft in all weather conditions.

Airport equipment specific to passenger boarding is engineered and delivered on a turnkey basis while modern management techniques are applied to achieve high quality and reliable delivery.

LED OBSTRUCTION LIGHTS AND OBSTACLE LIGHTING

CEL Aviation’s new second-generation range of LED-based obstruction lights and obstacle lighting is used for tall buildings, television towers, electricity pylons, wind-farm turbines, bridges / ports and airport environments and for aeronautical aids to navigation.

All lights have been approved for ICAO and FAA requirements and UK CAA regulation CAP 168.

CEL's light range includes low and medium-intensity lights, controllers for flash and photocell, PSUs, portable lights, replacement fittings and more. Advantages include:

AGL TRANSFORMER AND CONNECTOR KITS

CEL Aviation supplies AGL series and parallel transformers; primary and secondary pluggable and resin-filled connectors; and cable assemblies. In use all around the world, they are manufactured in thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) with excellent electrical and mechanical properties.

Our AGL transformer and connector kits comply to FAA, ICAO and MAK registrations.
