atg Smartcontrol System Commissioned By Staff At Cartagena Airport, Colombia

Cartagena, a small single runway airport and the site of a recent LED light fitting installation by atg airports, has just installed and commissioned the atg SmartControl system themselves.
The Control System was manufactured and tested in our Rugby factory before being shipped to Colombia. During the final stages of manufacturing and testing, the local contractor and the airport staff attended a two-week training course alongside atg engineers, developing the necessary skills in order for them to commission the new control system.
Cartagena Airport elected to have a PC Windows-based system, allowing for greater flexibility in relation to future upgrades and maintenance without the need for a specialist engineer.
