Airport operators are coming under more and more pressure to reduce their impact on the environment by reducing noise, CO2 output and oil consumption. TDA Lefebure helps them by offering solutions to minimise the use of aircraft APUs and of diesel GPUs when the aircraft is at the parking lot. 400Hz aircraft cable retrievers Skypit® 400Hz cable retrievers have been developed to satisfy the need of airport operators who want to:
Six-flap ground pitsTSA 400 hinged six-flap ground pits are used to distribute the energies required to airplanes when parked at embarkation, parking or maintenance points. Six-flap ground pits are installed flush with the ground and can withstand the load resulting from the passage of a wheel, an airplane or a refuelling vehicle (maximum load: 90,000daN). Lined ground pitTDS 400 lined ground pits are also used to distribute the energies required to airplanes when parked at embarkation, parking or maintenance points. They are installed flush with the ground and can withstand the load resulting from the passage of a wheel, an airplane or a refuelling vehicle (maximum load: 90,000daN). Cable guide rollers protect the cable from any damage when pulled out of the lined ground pit. If there is mechanical damage to the lined ground pit, the maintenance can be performed almost entirely without interruption of the service, thanks to the exclusive lining system. 400Hz mobile convertersMore and more airports are replacing their diesel-engine GPUs with GDP 400 fully electric, static 400Hz converters. However, some parking lots - especially remote aircraft parking positions - at airports cannot be equipped with fixed 400Hz production devices. The GDP 400 400Hz mobile converter is the solution for such cases. It can be easily brought to the aircraft's position and connected to the electrical network of the airport. Retractable pit for 400Hz aircraft cable protectionThe BRN 400 retractable pit terminal is the optimal solution for storing and protecting 400Hz aircraft cables on aircraft parked outside on remote positions. It provides easy handling of the pit and of the 400Hz aircraft cables. When closed, it lies flush with the ground. Further facilities, such as aircraft grounding cables, can be incorporated into the pit. 400Hz cable coilersThe LOV 400 aircraft cable coiler can be used to:
Protection box for avionics maintenance workshopsThe AN 400 INFRA protection box protects the operators in avionics maintenance workshops against risks of electrical shock, and protects the equipment under test against risks of overintensities, when this equipment is supplied with 400Hz AC current for maintenance and control operations. It is widely used in military and civil avionics maintenance workshops to ensure a safe electrical power supply for flight instruments and equipment being repaired, maintained or tested. This box is protected by different patents.
