As we are a single-source supplier for airport ground support and gate equipment, the project management and contract processes are greatly simplified. Easily-integrated passenger boarding bridges

Jetway passenger boarding bridges can be integrated with PCA and 400Hz ground power units, as well as potable water cabinets, baggage lifts, CE floors for servicing commuter aircraft, and AMS that facilitate monitoring and controlling gate operations. This equipment can be integrated to the bridge and operated from a single control panel.

Configurable passenger boarding bridges

Jetway passenger boarding bridges are available in different sizes and configurations, so they can service aircraft from the smallest regional jet, wide or narrow-body aircraft to the largest airplane in today's commercial aviation industry (the Airbus A380). Jetway passenger boarding bridges' seamless integration with other airport ground support equipment helps to reduce aircraft turn-times.

PCA units for aircraft

Jetway Systems' Jetaire PCA units are electric, self-contained, automatically controlled units that provide ventilation (cooling or heating) and filtering to an aircraft's air supply during pre-flight and loading service. Mounted Jetaire PCA units save airlines hundreds of thousands of dollars in fuel consumption, reduce the level of pollution created by aircraft and eliminate ramp congestion.

Jetaire PCA units are easy to maintain. They can be mounted under or on top of the passenger boarding bridge, and operated from the cabin of the bridge.

The system can be sized and configured to perform in any climatic condition and is available in different capacities. Jetaire small-capacity units come in 20t, 30t, 50t and 60t sizes, while large-capacity units are available in 75t, 100t and 120t sizes.

400Hz ground power units

JBT AeroTech Jetway Systems developed its first Jetpower 400Hz ground power unit 25 years ago. Since then the product line has evolved to different configurations and sizes to meet the market needs: Jetpower III, PWM2, PWM Plus, active LDC and Gatebox (for over-current protection).

With more than 2,000 units installed in airports worldwide, Jetpower has become an integral part of modern commercial aviation. Jetpower units can be stand, cart or bridge-mounted and are fully compatible with input power ranging from 380V to 480V at either 50Hz or 60Hz.

All Jetpower units have a 20-year design life.

Easily integrated passenger boarding bridges, PCA units and ground power units

Jetaire point-of-use PCA units and Jetpower 400Hz ground power units integrate seamlessly with Jetway passenger boarding bridges. These systems can greatly benefit airlines, airports and the environment.

Ancillary equipment allows aircraft auxiliary power units (APUs) to be turned off while parked at the gate, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars in fuel expense and other related costs, and reducing ramp congestion during airport operations.

When we analyzed the cost savings generated by a Jetaire PCA unit compared with the use of an aircraft's APU, the results were dramatic. Data reflects a reduction of 96% in both jet fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
