AXA 2300 Compact 400Hz solid-state GPUs

AXA Power was first to respond to the challenging power requirements of all-electric aircraft like the B787, A350 and the A380, by launching the AXA 2300 Compact GPU, an environment-friendly series of 400Hz GPUs.

The AXA 2300 Compact is the safe choice for new and existing 400Hz installations as it is designed to suit the increasing demands of future aircraft. Further, its design is based on input from major aircraft manufacturers and customers combined with AXA Power's long experience.

AXA Power Coil

AXA Power is the first in the market to offer and promote a combined ground power unit and a cable retriever - named the AXA Power Coil.

Incorporating a 90kVA GPU and a cable retriever in one and the same cubicle, the AXA Power Coil offers a considerable cost saving, particularly on installation, as it is delivered on-site fully factory-tested, thus reducing commissioning time to the minimum. Together with its compact design and low weight - approximately 40% less than traditional 'individual' systems - the AXA Power Coil provides an elegant and aesthetically pleasing solution to complement any air-bridge, particularly where glass-bridges are preferred.

Pre-conditioned air unit

The AXA Power pre-conditioned air unit sets new standards for PCA. This EU-manufactured PCA - the first modular unit created - is the market's most innovative, reliable and environmentally friendly PCA ever. The design is based on the ITW GSE group's experience with PCA, acquired during the past 35 years, in combination with AXA Power's comprehensive knowledge of controlling and optimizing 400Hz equipment.

The AXA Power PCA is equipped with multiple cooling modules. Quite extraordinarily, each module can easily and quickly be drawn out and replaced by personnel without any specific knowledge of refrigeration. Also, the AXA Power PCA can continue providing cooled air even with one module inactive.

The AXA Power PCA can be installed either as a fixed unit on the ground or hanging underneath the passenger boarding bridge. It provides a supply of fresh and highly filtered air into the aircraft at carefully monitored temperatures. This plays an important role in efficient aircraft turn-around, ensuring a pleasant working environment for staff who are busy getting the aircraft ready, as well as making the plane feel fresh and inviting for the next passengers.
