GROUND SUPPORT VEHICLES AND PASSENGER BOARDING BRIDGES DATABASE LIBRARIES

For the design of aircraft stands, a mix of aircraft can be assigned to each gate. AeroTURN Pro allows users to immediately select from a comprehensive database library of two and three tunnel passenger boarding bridges and aircraft (including FAA groups and ICAO codes) models from a variety of manufacturers.

With this, designers can easily verify multiple bridge-to-aircraft and aircraft-to-bridge slope calculations, creating a comprehensive aircraft stand database, much more efficiently and safely when compared to traditional methods.

Airside ground support vehicles include passenger, cargo and baggage trailers; catering, refuelling and emergency vehicles; and aircraft towing movers.

GATE DESIGNING WITH HEADS-UP DESIGN DISPLAY

AeroTURN Pro’s SmartBridge technology, which displays real-time slope calculations and warnings during the design process, enables designers to easily and confidently evaluate the maximum bridge slope between aircraft and boarding bridges.

On-the-fly testing lets users evaluate multiple gate and aircraft combinations more effectively than tedious and time-consuming manual drafting methods that increase workloads. Our system decreases workloads, and less work means more productivity.

ADVANCED AIRCRAFT SWEPT-PATH SIMULATION ENGINE

AeroTURN’s advanced aircraft swept-path simulation engine tests airside ground movements to prevent incidents between vehicles, aircraft, and airport facilities. SmartPath tools use the latest in cutting-edge technology to perform aircraft swept-path analysis.

AeroTURN Pro’s three interactive drive modes allow users to simulate forward and reverse aircraft and ground support vehicle manoeuvres quickly and easily, with oversteer and offset capabilities, by incorporating engineering algorithms that account for speed, super-elevation, lateral friction, and turn radii.

POWERFUL REPORTING AND PRESENTATION FUNCTIONALITY

This system allows you to create a terminal database of multiple aircraft stand positions - complete with a boarding bridge model, rotunda location, parked cab, etc. All data can be saved and exported to popular enterprise reporting programs. This information can be shared between maintenance, operations and engineering departments.

Using AeroTURN software, you can visually convince important stakeholders about airside space requirements and development alternatives, or confirm the user’s design results. All airside structures, aircraft, and support vehicles can be color assigned to distinguish between objects and ground simulation movements. They can then be animated for either dynamic full-motion or frame-by-frame presentations.

BASE MODE FOR LESSER REQUIREMENTS

AeroTURN also comes in a base version for designers who only need to perform aircraft ground manoeuvres to check for clearance and accessibility at various airport facilities.
