SIMCORE will be a special sponsor at the 12th annual Ground Handling International's conference, which will be held in Vienna, Austria, on 29 November - 2 December 2010. This event will gather attendees representing ground handling partners and airports from all over the world. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and discuss about major industry issues with senior industry executives.

SIMCORE will be located at the stand#S2 and will demonstrate its X OPS, the solution for real-time control of mobile equipment in the warehouse and on the ramp. It enables visual control, planning and project simulation of all airport vehicles. It has already been operating successfully at Paris CDG Airport for four years. Veolia Airport Services, Air France, WFS, Sodexi, Keolis and Flybus already rely on X OPS. The system monitors all linked operations such as cleaning, fuelling, passenger transfers and baggage, or distribution of cargo pallets to and from aircraft. X OPS combines geolocation, teletransmission and video as well as all the available techniques for data seizure such as PDA, RFID, bar codes etc. The system can function alongside other systems such as GPS and wireless communication.

Jean-François Bouilhaguet, managing director at SODEXI, the express handling division of Air France, will explain how X OPS revolutionises airport ground handling operations and how it has been able to reduce the number of ramp vehicles by a third in few months.
