EGATE - ADVANCED PASSENGER CLEARANCE SYSTEMeGate is an advanced passenger clearance system that considerably accelerates the movement of traffic through electronic data screenings with the help of a SmartCard. With this system, immigration clearance for each passenger will take five seconds. The eCard is the core of the system. The eCard displays the user’s information and fingerprints at the eGate. Before gaining access, this information is verified against black-list entries. In this way, the system works as a preventative measure against fraud and illegal entry into the country, making it a failsafe and dependable system designed to prevent frauds and to streamline passport control. The whole system is linked to a central monitoring unit that controls all the operations. eGate system will help governments to track down illegal entrants as the eCard allows only pre-registered nationals and residents to complete passport control. ESERVICES - PAPERLESS ARCHIVING AND INFORMATION SHARINGDATEL’s eServices web-based processing system for the public and private sector processes applications in a fast and easy manner. Applicants will be able to access different services through the eServices portal. Tedious administrative routines will be eliminated with eServices’ paperless archiving and information sharing. It will also be possible to apply for government internal forms using eServices, eliminating the need to queue at a counter.
