Australian Radio Towers (ART) provides guyed masts and towers designed by advanced riggers and structural engineers. Our products are Australian made, owned and manufactured, and their quality is guaranteed thanks to our over 35 years' direct experience in the radio tower and high-access rigging industry in Australia and internationally.

Our installation work is carried out by ART-accredited employees and contractors, with strict and comprehensive quality-control measures in place in all aspects of our manufacture and installation work.

An interesting feature is that our masts are constructed to be extendable by simply adding more sections, without additional engineering being required.

Radio tower designers

The radio tower designers who design our masts are advanced riggers, and they work in conjunction with experienced structural engineers to ensure a fast lead and installation time.

They are ideal for remote locations as they are specifically designed for manual gin pole installation (no cranes needed), and sections are light enough to be moved around by hand. An access ladder is built into guyed sections on all faces.

Radio tower manufacturers

As high-quality radio tower manufacturers, we use an independent, quality-assured engineering firm that uses the latest software for the design of our guyed masts and towers.

The quality-control programme we have implemented means that each and every mast section we produce is independently inspected. It also has a serial number that is recorded and logged with the inspector's name, the welder's name, the manufacture date, the steel batch number and the steel supplier. Our aim as a radio tower manufacturer is to produce the highest quality mast possible.

Our bracketry and guyed mast components have been specially designed by us for our masts, which means equipment installation for anything from a microwave dish to a wind monitor is strong, simple and efficient.

Footings and ground anchors for guyed masts

A significant part of our working history comes from working in the Northern Territory for over 18 years on some of the remotest tower sites in Australia, which led to the development of many of our anchor systems. We can provide an engineer-certified anchor system for any ground type or location, from sand plains to rocky mountains to roof tops.

Due to the importance of the footing and anchorage system we personally carry out our own ground works for our installations to ensure the structural integrity of all our projects.
