Video management system software

Meyertech's FUSION-2-Core is a video management system (VMS) application for administering medium to very large scale security systems.

Intelligent Mapping allows users to drag the map around the screen for navigation and use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out through the map layers.

Multiple maps can be easily opened and displayed in the Fusion-2-Core using simple drag-and-drop operations. Maps can also be tagged for quick reference and the atlas-browser feature gives users the ability to select and navigate maps and hyperlinks directly on a named basis.

The flexibility of Fusion-2-Core provides high-level operators with powerful features to configure individual users working environments. A user's personal layout is then saved and recalled whenever they log in, enabling multiple users to operate from the same workstation without having to continually reconfigure it.

Digital and Analogue Video

With Fusion-2-Core you don't have to choose between digital and analogue video.

New build airport projects will be digital-IP based but existing airport terminals may still rely on predominantly analogue systems. Whilst the future strategy will be to move to digital-IP it may not currently make economic sense to replace the entire system from camera to monitor, especially in today's climate of austerity.

Primary security platform for an airport security system

The primary platform in an airport security system, Fusion-2-Core VMS integrates other essential systems. Access control, fire alarm, digital recording and building integration can all be integrated into a single unified security platform.

Video wall displays

Video wall displays are a valuable tool during major incidents or crisis, assisting with the co-ordination of resources to manage the incident.

A Fusion-2 VMS allows users to select and modify different layouts on a video wall display. Layouts are completely customisable and can also be programmed to change automatically under the control of Fusion-2-Core events such as scheduled events, user log-on and alarm events.

Triple or dual display format workstations

Fusion workstations are available in either triple or dual display formats. In the dual monitor format one display is used to display live video images and the second will be the GUI. Using the triple display format the central monitor would be dedicated to the GUI with the other displays used for flexible video display.

Incident management logging system

Fusion-Incident-2 provides airport control centres with a comprehensive incident management system that can be run as a stand-alone application or part of the Fusion network.

It allows users to quickly log surveillance incidents using point-and-click, auto-text and quick-text inputs. With minimum operator training, it is possible to make a detailed incident log in less than 30 seconds.

The in-built report generator produces comprehensive management reports. Data can also be exported to Microsoft Excel or CSV text file types.
