The product of over 30 years' continuous development, our hardware includes robust, heavy-duty fully integrated camera dome units, pan and tilt heads, environmental camera housings and accessories, which are used in specialist and prestigious applications across the globe.

Weatherproof CCTV cameras

Ideal in all areas, our new weatherproof Panama CCTV camera is the first fully integrated dome with a ½in CCD colour camera and a 15x, 8mm-120mm zoom lens for true optical quality. Our traditional IP68 pan and tilt heads and IP66 environmental housings come in three interchangeable sizes, with the largest combination capable of accommodating a 650mm × 180mm × 170mm camera/lens weighing up to 50kg.

Heavy-duty pan and tilt CCTV cameras

The heavy-duty variable-speed Homburg CCTV camera will support up to 50kg on a side mount or up to 45kg over the top.

Totally maintenance free, the Homburg's limit stops are set externally to avoid having to open a unit and potentially compromise its IP 68 rating. The gearbox is designed to minimise backlash and provides higher gear ratios for lower speeds without costly modifications whilst full mechanical braking enhances accuracy and stability. Long-life potentiometers come as standard with an option for extended long-life potentiometers. Units are available in 24VDC or 12VDC versions.

Medium-duty pan and tilt CCTV cameras

Available in both over-the-top and side-mount configurations, Topper pan and tilts are extremely compact, externally robust and aesthetically designed to an IP68 rating.

Providing a rugged and stable mobile camera platform for use in most CCTV applications, the Topper's gearbox is engineered to provide higher gear ratios for lower speeds without costly modifications.

Light-duty pan and tilt CCTV cameras

Available in both over-the-top and side-mount configurations, Bowler pan and tilts are extremely compact (just one-third of the volume of the Topper), externally robust and aesthetically designed to an IP68 rating.

Providing a rugged and stable mobile camera platform for use in CCTV applications where a smaller size is required, the Bowler's gearbox is engineered to provide higher gear ratios for lower speeds without costly modifications.

Environmental camera housings

The Mitre range of environmental camera housings is manufactured to a proven traditional design. The units are extremely compact but are designed to accommodate the larger camera / lens dimensions required for city centre projects.

Stainless-steel fittings and fastenings are used throughout to ensure a long operational life. The IP rating is 66 and two entry glands and a hole with a grommet fitted are provided to ensure proper cable management. Standard accessories include an extended paxolin camera plate, steel safety strap and wiring distribution block.

A PTC resistor heater with progressive performance is also provided, which eliminates the need for a thermostat. A deep base allows the fitting of an optional integral wiper, which incorporates a micro switch for self-parking.

Explosion-proof CCTV cameras

Certified to ATEX standards, the EEX series of CCTV cameras has been designed to meet or exceed the demands of hazardous areas where flammable gases may be present.

Fully supported by MAD's experienced after-sales team, the range comprises explosion-proof housings and integrated housing/pan and tilt combinations that exploit proven, patented technology to provide uncompromising reliability and performance in the most volatile conditions imaginable.

Stainless-steel housings, pans and tilts

Built entirely of AISI 304 or AISI 316, the NX series of specialist housings and pan and tilts has been meticulously researched and designed to provide optimum protection and reliability for marine, industrial and chemical applications where highly corrosive environments are an ever-present threat to system integrity.
