Security screening systems

The EKDED 2303 is a security screening system which generates an x-ray image of a subject, thus exposing any suspicious items which may be secreted about or even inside the body. The system has numerous advantages over the more traditional airport security search procedures, namely an increased speed of scanning, protection of a subject's modesty, and quick and accurate detection of suspicious items.

The EKDED 2303 is totally safe, exposing passengers to extemely low radiation doses (less than daily exposure from natural radiation sources), and as such, is fully ISO 9001:2000 accredited.

Electronic remote perimeter protection and intruder detection systems

The EKFP 2140 is a next-generation security system designed to handle all aspects of perimeter protection. It can be applied to a pre-existing fence to act as a remote perimeter detection system which can identify a potential intruder to an accuracy of around 10 metres.

Wherever perimeter protection and intrusion detection are required, the EKFP 2140 provides the ideal solution, with a system that is easy to install, operate and maintain. The long-life sensor units are highly immune to extraneous environmental factors.

The system has been approved by the Israeli Army Technological unit for the protection of borders, military camps and top secret sites.

Portable field strength logging and surveillance systems

The EKBD 1369 system provides an elegant, fully integrated solution, specifically designed for mobile "drive-by" signal coverage measurements, field strength mapping, mobile surveillance and other similar investigative operations.

The EKBD 1369 system employs an integrated GPS receiver to display and store geographical co-ordinates of the measured signal. The logged data include time, date, latitude, longitude and altitude. The system is designed for use by emergency service responders, communications providers, homeland security and defence forces.

Access control systems

ELKAT has a range of access control systems which can automatically identify both individuals or vehicles, and subsequently confirm or deny access. Our latest access control products are the EKFP 2169 face recognition system and the EKFP 2130 vehicle access control system.

Biometric face recognition systems

The EKFP 2169 face recognition system is one of the most innovative and advanced biometric security solutions on the market today. Using pre-defined data from pictures stored in its database, the system can process an individual's face as a key to grant access of use to premises which need to be secured against unauthorized individuals.

The system's ability to permit or deny the use of a particular resource by an individual is based exclusively on positive identification of the subject's face. Subsequently, the EKFP 2169 face recognition system overcomes the problem of lost or forgotten keys or cards, and negates the risk of a key / card being stolen and used to gain unauthorised access to a building.

Vehicles access control for gated compounds

The EKFP 2130 is a vehicle access control system for gated compounds. It incorporates image-processing technology using a video camera that reads the vehicle's licence plate and converts it into computer data application. It can provide free access for predefined cars, and can automatically detect black-listed vehicles. It can also automatically block stolen vehicles at the access point if required.

The EKFP 2130 will work even in the case of a power failure.
