CellStack Systems Becomes Telindus Surveillance Solutions

1 November 2004 – Telindus Surveillance Solutions, formerly CellStack Systems, a leading provider of networked CCTV surveillance solutions for the transportation market, has announced an expansion into the mid-range surveillance market as it seeks to expand its global presence.
“Now companies in the retail, finance and public sectors can benefit from the secure surveillance solutions we’ve developed for the air, rail, road and port industries,” says Ken Sutherland, surveillance director, TSS. “Our experience and expertise means that we can take the benefits of high-end surveillance – such as security, quality and remote monitoring – and cost-effectively transfer them to the mid-range market. As far as the name change goes, we have been part of the Telindus Group since 2000, so this brings us under the same brand,” he continues.
The Telindus strategic plan is formed around the Flagship 2006 programme. Flagship 2006 will expand Telindus, over a three-year period, into an international, independent specialist in ICT solutions and services. Telindus has opted for Europe, but is also convinced that it can create added value in Asia. The company is aiming for long-term profitability and growth, central to which is the creation of long-term shareholder value. Surveillance is an integral part of the corporate Telindus ‘Flagship’ 2006 strategy.
TSS will continue to provide high-quality, real-time video surveillance solutions to the transportation market, following its experience working for high-profile clients such as the London Underground, Ben Gurion airport, the Highways Agency (M25 motorway) and the Swiss Federal Roads Office (ASTRA).
