CellStack Seeing Global Progress

Cambridge – March 14, 2004. Telindus owned CellStack Systems Ltd, leading providers of networked CCTV surveillance solutions to the transportation market, have recently signed two new distributors, based in the US and South Africa, to sell and support their world leading video surveillance solutions expanding their global presence into these important markets.
In the US, CellStack has signed Steelbox Networks Inc., and in South Africa CEB Networks will sell and support the product range throughout sub-Saharan Africa.
Telindus Surveillance Solutions Director, Dr Ken Sutherland said, “The CellStack product range has been successful in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and China and has already achieved significant exposure in the US. These two new distributors represent a further endorsement of the CellStack technology and our current product roadmap. We have a range of new products coming to market this year as we expand into the image analysis application domain and we are excited to have further opportunities to drive these new solutions into the market”.
Chip Howes CEO of Steelbox Network said, "As the manufacturer of CellStack's new Centinel recording architecture, SteelBox is in a unique position to understand and support CellStack surveillance solutions in the Americas. In addition to supporting CellStack's other US channel partners in opportunities that incorporate the Centinel, SteelBox will be able to pursue strategic markets not otherwise addressed by the current US partners, therefore widening the acceptance of the CellStack solutions for the benefit of all."
“CEB have been pioneers in the South African digital surveillance market since 1995 and needed a high-end multimedia gateway solution specifically for the Ports and Mining markets,” said Johan Coetzee, Director, CEB. “The CellStack product range not only met our requirements, but gave us the competitive edge in the African marketplace.”
The CellStack product range is built around the CellStack Integration Suite (CIS), a digital video surveillance solution based on either ATM or IP networking technology. The CIS supports CellStack’s own high video codec, the CellStack Centauri, and their recently launched recording solution, the CellStack Centinel.
