New CellStack Systems Centinel Networked Video Recorder

Cambridge – February 10, 2004. Telindus owned CellStack Systems Ltd, leading providers of networked CCTV surveillance solutions to the transportation market, are pleased to announce that the new CellStack Centinel has been specially developed to record high quality digital video from the CellStack Centauri video codec. The CellStack Centinel was launched on the Telindus stand at the Passenger Terminal Expo 2004, Geneva, Switzerland.
The CellStack Centinel has been developed in partnership with US technology company SteelBox Networks Inc. and represents the first of a number of new products that are currently being developed by Telindus Surveillance Solutions. A single Centinel unit can record video from more than 250 video streams of full D1 resolution video at 25 frames per second over IP or ATM digital networks, making it the highest capacity single box recorder available on the market today. The CellStack Centinel supports full frame and time-lapse recording in scheduled and pre/post event modes. The CellStack Centinel can be directly connected or network attached to multiple disk storage arrays, providing a virtually unlimited scalable architecture.
