FEMA AIRPORT - Electronic Weighing Equipment

FEMA AIRPORT was established in 1986 to design, build and set-up airport electronic weighing equipment. The company particularly focuses on equipment reliability together with easy installation and maintenance.

Baggage and cargo weighing equipment

Within the baggage and cargo-handling sector FEMA AIRPORT's equipment includes:

  • Passenger baggage weighing at check-in counter
  • Cargo pallets weighing
  • Narrow and wide-body aircraft weighing platforms

FEMA AIRPORT's products are designed in cooperation with airport authorities' engineering requirements. This ensures an optimum flow of passengers at check-in counters

All the company's baggage and cargo weighing equipment complies with European standards, and can be installed at airports worldwide.

Cargo and pallet weighing equipment

Cargo bulks are weighed to provide load control of the pallets loaded on aircraft. The pallet weighing equipment FEMA AIRPORT supplies is subject to regular verification and control by its qualified team.

Cargo weighing scales

FEMA AIRPORT's cargo weighing scales are built according to the requirements of freight handling system manufacturers to carry out the weighing process using two 20in platforms with a totaliser for both A+B loads.

Aircraft weighing systems

Aircraft weighing is carried out during maintenance in order to meet airworthiness requirements and to reconcile weight and balance. A centre-of-gravity system is fitted to the aircraft to ensure this.

Electronic load-cell platforms

Electronic load-cell platforms with intermediate spacers allow the positioning of aircraft wheels on each platform. A Wi-Fi connection from each platform to a computer provides the information for the aircraft's total weight and centre-of-gravity calculation.
