Data capture is even easier thanks to 2D or 1D scanners, which come as standard. In addition to IrDA, Bluetooth® and USB interfaces, the integrated PCMCIA slot enables use of WLAN, GPRS, UMTS or other network cards. Even RFID is possible.

INTEGRATED 1D- OR 2D BARCODE READERS

The integrated C-MOS scanner not only reads all established 1D and 2D barcodes; it can also capture labels and signatures. It is even possible to take super-rapid digital photos - for example to capture a proof of delivery or to record evidence of damage in transit.

DROP-PROOF AND SPLASH-PROOF

Casio hardware is synonymous with absolute reliability and durability. It will withstand drops to concrete from a height of 1m and, depending on the device, even up to 1.8m. Dust and splash resistance is assured, according to IP54 standards.

Almost all hand held terminals and pocket PCs can operate in temperatures between -10°C and +50°C. This ensures that Casio mobile terminals are fully capable of meeting the requirements of daily data collecting in rough environments.

Most Casio mobile data collection devices run on Windows CE NET operating systems and are equipped with Bluetooth technology. This makes programming and integration in existing environments easy and cost-effective.

The excellent power management of Casio mobile devices ensures low energy consumption even when using display-intensive applications. All lithium-ion batteries provide an extraordinarily long operating period.

Furthermore, the auto-recovery tool enables all the data and programs to be restored directly from the memory of the mobile terminals. A variety of slots offer additional memory options.
