The Atrax ABS960 baggage scale is a special-purpose scale with extended communication and input/output capabilities designed specifically as a universal platform for use in performing baggage check-in functions. This advanced unit sets the standard for a 'fully integrated' check-in baggage weighing system.

Cargo / courier industry weighing systems

Our range of weighing systems for the cargo / courier industries extends to high capacity scales for container weighing. These can be installed in standard roller decks or incorporated into more complex equipment such as elevated transfer vehicles and bulk storage stacker cranes.

In-motion conveyor weighing system

The Atrax Dynamic scale system is designed for use either as a group check-in unit, or as a baggage check weigher prior to injecting into a baggage handling system.

For the check weigher application, the digital weight indicator has several user-selectable overweight levels which can be programmed to stop the conveyor when the acceptable weight has been exceeded. When used as a group check-in system, the individual weights of bags can be continuously outputted to a PC, or other serial device, for accumulating and / or other processing.

Rotating volume scanner system

The rotating volume scanner system (RVSS) accurately measures small, medium and large static objects such as those found on pallets, in air cargo and in materials-handling facilities. It automatically and reliably measures any object's shape in terms of height, length and width of the smallest enclosing cuboid.

The single structural pillar results in more free space on the floor. In addition the RVSS can be suspended from the roof structure, thereby increasing floor space even further.

The high-tech dual-head rotating volume scanner, which uses eye-safe laser technology, is mounted onto a rotating support rod which is located above an optional floor mounted weighing space. In just a few seconds the maximum dimensions of the goods are measured and weighed and the data forwarded to the central computer.
