In Dubai, Emirates Airline has placed an order with ALSTEF to maintain and assist the operation of the baggage handling system by destination coded vehicles (DCV) in the terminal dedicated to crew members.

Since 3 August 2008, when the system started to run, ALSTEF has been in charge of the preventive and corrective maintenance, together with the baggage hazard. The ALSTEF maintenance team is on duty 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.

At Paris CDG Airport, ALSTEF, who successfully installed and commissioned the baggage handling system of the new terminal 2G, has been chosen by Aéroports de Paris for the process control and maintenance of the system, which began operating at the beginning of September. The duration of ALSTEF's services is an estimated five years. ALSTEF technicians are present seven days a week during operation hours, where they are in charge of the process control and the corrective and preventive maintenance, during and after operation hours.

At Nice-Côte d’Azur airport, ALSTEF has been awarded a contract for the preventive and corrective maintenance of the baggage handling system of terminal 2-2 for an estimated period of four years. The contract will start on 1 December 2008, from which time, the team will be present on site seven days a week during peak hours to undertake all maintenance tasks after operation hours.

Over 20 engineers and technicians will be involved in these three missions, resulting in a total of 80 people at ALSTEF working for the maintenance activity.
