27 February 2006

After three years of extensive checking of the results of the TrackJet technology at the BAA airports of Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and others in the UK (increased friction values after cleaning missions always to above 0.7) the management of BAA decided to purchase the TrackJet technology in November 2005.

BAA Heathrow will take delivery of their own TrackJet by May 2006. This will allow them to maintain the runways and apron areas and, as proven at Aberdeen Airport, prolong the lifetime of the TrackJet treated surfaces by 50%.

Aberdeen Airport was planning to resurface this year but after rubber removal with TrackJet technology they can keep their runway for another three years. These are the real savings incorporated when using the modern rubber and paint removal technology that TrackJet offers to the airport industry.
