The latest generation of runway rubber removal equipment has been sucessfully delivered to SEEB International Airport in the Sultanate of Oman.

The equipment features a URACA KD725 ultra high-pressure water pump which is capable of generating pressures of 2,500bar at 28L/min and totally removing all rubber deposits without damage to the runway surface. The rubber deposits are removed from the runway surface and contained in the onboard debris tank.

Whilst a 2,500bar operating pressure is possible and is actually used for the removal of line marking the unique jet head design enables complete rubber removal at only 1,700bar.

Another feature of the Jetting Systems OSPREY is the front mounted rubber removal unit which is quickly stowed when the equipment needs to exit the runway.

The OSPREY provides a totaly self-contained and environmentally sensitive method of rubber removal from airport runways worldwide.
