FREMONT, CA. – April 4, 2006: The DreamBox division of Magal-Senstar, Inc. announced today the release of its new intelligent site-in-motion software package. This highly advanced application can be easily added to any DreamBox intelligent CCTV platform. It represents a revolutionary method of identifying, tracking, and analyzing objects with subsequent alerts in various security applications.

The advanced software includes solutions for identifying and tracking an object across over-lapped multiple fields of cameras on-site, with an identifying 'handshake' between the cameras for the same object. Objects and intruders can be presented on a site map view at any chosen moment. Additionally, automatic PTZ camera control allows tracking of moving objects without any human interaction. Users can also click on any area of the site map and the software will automatically choose the camera that offers the best coverage for that area.

The Magal DreamBox intelligent site-in-motion application can help security personnel better analyze real time threats as they emerge on site as well as help with the decision process, resulting in fast and smart decisions in a relatively short period of time. Furthermore, the ability to get a clear and fast 'battle picture' at any given moment can result in tremendous cost savings for any organization as the size of the security staff can be downsized without compromising the level of security.

"We are very excited to make available this latest generation of software for our DreamBox intelligent CCTV platform," said Yossi Massafi, General Manager for DreamBox USA. "Magal has been a leader of perimeter security solutions for over 30 years and DreamBox is well on its way to setting the standards for today's intelligent video platforms."

This new development will be showcased in booth 12087 at the ISC West in Las Vegas, April 5 – 7 and on booth Q82 at IFSEC in Birmingham, UK, May 8-11.
